Preparations for London’s Party in full-swing!

London Eurovision Party 2014 organizers report:

We are delighted to announce that the United Kingdom’s entrant Molly Smitten-Downes will be the headline artist at this year’s London Eurovision Party on13th April at Café De Paris. Eurovision fans will be smitten with the up-and-coming singer-songwriter’s performance of ‘Children of the Universe‘.  UK fans will have the chance to show their support and to wish her good luck in Copenhagen, and sample many of this year’s other entries.Romania’s Paula Selling & Ovi will expecting a ‘Miracle’ as they make a return visit to London, and hopefully will perform their 2010 Eurovision song ‘Playing With Fire’. A ‘Silent Storm’ is also on the way in the shape of Norway’s Carl Espen, and we’ll ‘Rise Up’ with Freaky Fortune & RiskyKidd from Greece.The 2008 X Factor UK contestant, Spain’s Ruth Lorenzo will be ‘Dancing in the Rain’ at the London Eurovision Party 2014. Making her third consecutive appearance at the event will be San Marino entrant, Valentina Monetta. From Macedonia, the absolutely fabulous Tijana Dapčević with be taking us ‘To The Sky’. Poland’s entrants Donatan & Cleo will be treating us to their YouTube sensation ‘My Slowianie’ and Latvia’s Aarzemnieki will turn the temperature up as they have a ‘Cake To Bake’.  Already one of the favourites to win, Armenia’s Aram Mp3 will perform ‘Not Alone’.Representing Austria, the charismatic Conchita Wurst will perform her entry ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’, and Malta’s Firelight will actually be leaving home to perform ‘Coming Home’ in London.  From Switzerland, Sebalter will be ‘Hunting For Stars’, and this year’s entrant from Montenegro, Sergej Ćetković will be adding a Balkan flavour to the Eurovision fun with ‘Moj Svijet’.

Our special guests will be former Eurovision winner Anne-Marie David, who will perform her 1973 winning song ‘Tu te reconnaitras’ as well as a couple of other songs you might recognise, and Scott Fitzgerald who will persuade more fans to ‘Go’ to the Café De Paris, as he recreates his 1988 United Kingdom entry. As a special treat Marcin Mroziński (Poland 2010) will take us back in time with ‘Legenda’.

The night will once again, be hosted by the Eurovision darling Nicki French (United Kingdom 2000), and the dashing Paddy O’Connell (BBC commentator & radio broadcaster). Eurovision music to dance the night away in glitzy surroundings will also be provided by fan-favourite DJ, Dave Simmons. Doors will open at 6pm with the first artist on stage around 7pm on the 13th of March, Saturday.
