This year’s Norwegian hopeful, Alessandra, has released the music video of “Queen of Kings”, with which she is going to represent her country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Alessandra, the Norwegian contestant of this year’s contest, has released the official music video of her entry “Queen of Kings”. The Director of the music video is Alexander Zarare Frez. The beginning of the song is in the Italian language, which is Alessandra’s mother tongue.
About Alessandra
“Alessandra” is the stage name of Alessandra Watle Mele; she is born on September 5th 2002 in Italy. Her father is Italian and her mother is Norwegian. When Alessandra was just 12 she won a local talent show, and after she graduated from high school she decided to move to Norway and stay with her grandparents. Later on in life she moved to the city of Lillehammer in Norway to study in the Lillehammer Insititute of Music Production and Industries. In 2022 she competed in the Norwegian national Eurovision final, “Melodi Grand Prix 2023”, which she won.

Norway’s Alessandra will perform 1st in the first Semi-final on May 9th 2023.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place on May 9th, 11th, and 13th 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. 37 countries will compete for the crown. This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be a joint venture, since last year’s winner Ukraine cannot organize the contest on home soil because of the ongoing war with Russia.
