In another unexpected twist in Latvia, an extra contender has been added to the list of acts who’ll appear in the Grand Final of Supernova 2018 on Saturday.
It’s been announced that Sudden Lights – who originally only came third in Semi-Final 1 with their song ‘Just Fine’ but won the public vote on the night – have won a reprieve in the shape of a ‘jury wildcard’.
They’ll now take their place alongside the seven acts already confirmed as qualifiers, leaving the amended Grand Final line-up looking like this:

- Liene Greifane:Â Walk the talk
- MADARA:Â Esamiba
- Markus Riva:Â This time
- Ritvars:Â Who’s counting
- Lauris Valters:Â Lovers Bliss
- Laura Rizzotto:Â Funny girl
- Sudden Lights:Â Just fine
Previously, Markus Riva also earned an unexpected reprieve due to online voting problems in Semi-Final 2.
