RTVE aired Melani’s full first rehearsal online with her JESC 2019 entry ‘Marte’
This year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Gliwice-Silesia has already kicked off and the first individual rehearsals are well undergoing at the Gliwice Arena, where the show will take place on the 24th of November.
It is big time for the second set of first rehearsals to happen inside the arena and the Spanish broadcaster RTVE wanted us to discover what Melani García, the Spanish little star performing ‘Marte’, will be doing on stage together with her 4 backing singers.
Melani is seating on a podium at the beginning, whilst the LED screens show darkness which leads and turns into the deep sea with loads of fishes and jellyfishes swimming and marching around. Although, there is a huge problem happening, which is the main concern on Melani’s entry: the sea and marine pollution, full of plastic wastes by the human action. This is the main topic of the song and the issue that we wants to spread awareness about.
Today, the European Broadcasting Union will continue uploading the second set of rehearsals from the participating countries. Tomorrow, the press will be able to enter the arena in order to watch them live indoors. The main show featuring the 19 contestants will take place on Sunday, the 24th of November live from Gliwice (Poland).
