Junior Eurovision: Ukrainian finalists revealed

NTU has just published the 20 contenders selected to perform at the Ukrainian final for Junior Eurovision 2014:

  4. Duet “Double Smile”- Omriyana Zemlya
  5. Sofia Yaremova
  6. Viktoriya Svjatogor
  7. Trio “Smile” – Up and Down,  Вгору та вниз
  8. Stasya Yevgrashina (Stasy MJ) – Povernit Moyu Mriyu
  9. Zviosdnaia kapel (Star Drops) – Oberig
  10. Mariya Tarnavskaya
  11. Anna Lihota
  12. Anna Trincher – Nebo Znaye
  13. Sofiya Rol – V Tvoyih Dolonyah Vse
  14. Yuliana Vasilovskaya – Tviy Nomer Odin
  15. Veronica Erokhova – Znov Shasliva ya
  16. Duet Nina & Vasya Boykoby – Moya Stihiya
  17. Denis Frolov
  18. Vocal Ensemble “Zabava” – Ukraino Nene
  19. Yarina Taras
  20. Sofiya Kutsenko, Marta Rak and Amalia Krymskaya

The last trio is formed by Sofiya Kutsenko, Marta Rak and Amalia Krymskaya, they are the winners of the Music Academy of Eurovision 2014 which has been broadcasted on NTU the past weeks – WATCH VIDEOS HERE

The 20 finalists have been selected during a live audition by a public chosen professional jury formed by Natalia Medveva, Mikhail Nekrasov, Andriy Frantsyz, Angela Kopotya and Illaria. The final candidates will spend two weeks of preparation (from June 28 until the national final) and they will also take part in the shooting of four video diaries to be broadcasted on the Ukrainian First Channel. They will also be given singing and dancing lessons, as well as professional help to revamp their songs for the contest.

Ukrainian national final will take place on August 2 and the winner, who will be determined by a mix of jury and public televote (SMS), will represent Ukraine at Junior Eurovision 2014 to take place on November 15 in Malta.
