Junior Eurovision: Ukraine kicks off national selection

NTU has just launched the national selection for Junior Eurovision 2014!

The Ukrainian broadcaster will be accepting applications from May 1 to June 28. A professional jury will select the 20 finalists who will be given singing and dancing lessons, as well as professional help to revamp their song for the contest. The final candidates will spend two weeks of preparation (from June 28 until the national final) and they will also take part in the shooting of four video diaries to be broadcasted on the Ukrainian First Channel.

The national final will take place on August 2 and the winner, who will be determined by a mix of jury and public televote (SMS), will represent Ukraine at Junior Eurovision 2014 to take place on November 15 in Malta.
