Apparently, the preparations for this year’s Russian national final for Junior Eurovision are in full swing.
According to Lina Arifulina, show producer, the national selection show will take place in Sochi. However, the Russian broadcaster hasn’t made any official statements about about their plans for Junior Eurovision 2016 yet.

Last year, Russia selected Misha Smirnov to perform at Junior Eurovision after an open national selection procedure. The young singer ended 6th at the international contest with the song “Mechta” (Dream).
