GPB has announced that the Georgian song for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will be premiered tomorrow along with the official video. The release will take place on the First National Channel and on YouTube.
You can listen to a snippet of the song on the video below:
Earlier this year, the Georgian broadcaster released an open call for artists aged between 9 and 14 years to find the right candidate to wave the national flag in Tbilisi. A number of singers faced a live audition from which a professional jury panel selected the X Factor contestant Grigol Kipshidze.
Although the applicants were initially asked to send their original songs, the Georgian broadcaster open a competition for authors, which was won by Giga Kukhianidze. Giga has composed almost every Georgian entry in the history of Junior Eurovision, including the winning tracks ‘Bzz’, ‘Candy Music’ and ‘Mzeo’.
