A total of five contestants will reach the semifinals, but only three of them will go through to the final.

At each gala, the jury panel, whose members will change every week, will give each contestant different marks according to four skills rated during the participant’s performances: voice, acting, artistic and collaborative skills. In the end, there will be a ranking based on the average of all four marks of each candidate.

The ones in charge of conducting each show are the renowned pianist David Aladashvili, whose training was held at the Juilliard music school and is a winner of many international awards, also known for participating in campaigns to help children learn skills musicals; and Lika Evgenidze, a well-known Georgian actress and host.

The winner of Ranina will work on the song with a team selected by GPB and will go on to represent Georgia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020.

You can watch Ranina every Friday until 13th November at 20.00 CET on GPB.
