Junior Eurovision: Dutch finalists announced!

AVRO has just announced the 8 finalists who will take part in the Junior Songfestival TV shows!

1. Anique & Anne – Dromen
2. Beau – De Wind
3. Bobby & Ella – Hard to Explain
4. Chelsea – Waarom
5. Julia – Around
6. Sebastiaan – Samen
7. Sem –  Jij Bent Mijn Top 1
8. Suze – Hadidoe

The eight finalists have been selected among 33 contenders who took part at the final audition last April 13 in Utrecht (The Netherlands). The candidates performed live in front of a professional jury formed by Charly Luske, Krystl and Diggy Dex.

The lucky selected will enter the academy where their songs are expected to be revamped with professional help for the TV shows. Moreover, they will have singing and dancing lessons during summer in order to prepare their performances, the candidates will also shoot official videoclips with their songs’ final version to be presented later in summer.

The Junior Songfestival live shows will take place in September and the winner will represent The Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2014 in Malta. Stay Tuned!
