The 10 Belarussian finalists for Junior Eurovision 2014 have jut been revealed! Some songs are already available to be listened below:
- Daria Atroshenko (14 years, Molodečnenskij r-n)
- Antoni Konoplyanik (13 years, g. Minsk)
- Angelina Pipper – Vysje Vsiech (14 years, Brestskaja obl., d. Ostromečevo)
- Anna Ermokovich – Mama, eta ya! (14 years, g. Brest)
- Kseniya Lashevsky & Pavel- Mamina Lyubov (Мамина Любовь) (13 & 11 years, Grodnenskaja obl., g. Slonim)
- Anna Zaitseva – Geta Moy Lios (14, g. Minsk)
- Vladislava Dorosevich – Ya Veryu v Svoyu Mechtu! (10 years, g. Minsk)
- Elena Titova (10 years, g. Mogilev)
- Julia Levina – Zhuravy (11 years, g. Brest)
- Nadezhda Misyakova – Sokol (14 years, g. Minsk)
Half of the finalists have already experienced a Belarussian final for Junior Eurovision:
- Daria Atroshenko (2011 and 2012)
- Antoni Konoplyanik (2012)
- Angelina Pipper (2013)
- Anna Zaitseva (2011 and 2013)
- Nadezhda Misyakova (2013)
A professional jury headed by Eduard Zaritsky has determined the finalists to compete at Belarusian final for Junior Eurovision. BTRC received 48 applications and only 46 were allowed to take part in the pre-round. “Not only received we applications from Belarus, we also received two from Russia” – said Head of the national qualifying round. 14 contenders were invited to perform live in front of a professional jury (watch report here).
The final of Belarussian selection will be held on August 29, 2014. The winner will be determined by a mix of results of jury voting and televoting and will represent Belarus at Junior Eurovision 2014 to take place on November 15 in Malta.
