Junior Eurovision: Armenian broadcaster announces 23 national candidates

AMPTV has just revealed the name of the candidates that will compete at the junior version of Depi Evratesil. The Armenian representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 will be selected through an external selection that will feature original songs. 

After three years of internal choices, Armenia is back to a national final format to select their next Junior Eurovision hopeful. Depi Mankakan Evratesil will be made up of three shows, two semifinals and one final that will take place in September. 23 candidates, chosen from internal live auditions, will compete in the televised shows performing original songs:

  • Eliza
  • Erik Antonyan
  • L.E.V.O.N.
  • Harut Harutyunyan
  • Liana

  • Maria Petrosyan
  • Melisa
  • Vardan Margaryan
  • Nare Elizbaryan
  • Sati
  • Serzh Arakelyan
  • Vahagn Mesrobyan
  • Vova
  • “Secunda”
  • “1+1”
  • “Yurahatuk”

The songs the Armenian hopefuls will perform in the national selection shows will be premiered next month.
