Junior Eurovision: Anna Filipchuk will fly the Russian flag in Minsk

Yesterday the Russian national final for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 was held in Crimea’s Artek International Children Center. 12 acts performed at the show willing to represent their country in Minsk, but only one of them will be flying the Russian flag on 25 November.

13 years old Anna Filipchuk was selected to represent Russia at the European contest with the song “Nepobedimy“:

A 50/50 mix of a professional jury panel and online poll results decided the winner of the final among the following candidates:

  • Anna Filipchuk – “Nepobedimy (Invincible)” 9,91%
  • Arkadiy Yevtushenko – “Ya zdes (I’m here)” 9,8%
  • Group Dodostar – “Poslushay (Listen)” 9,23 %
  • Ivan Starikov – “Neutomimyye (Tireless)” 9,13%
  • Anya Yakubuk – “Vselennaya (Universe)” 8,755
  • Evelina Mazurina – “Poy dushoy (Sing your soul)” 8,17%
  • Tatyana Melnichenko – “Schastye na ladonyakh (Happiness in the palm of your hands)” 7,80%
  • Aleksandra Kirilchuk – “Family tree” 7,79%
  • Diana Smykova – “Barabum” 7,69%
  • Elizaveta Kuklishina – “Mechta moya (My dream)” 7,60%
  • Group Matreshki – “Vse mezhdu nami (All between us)” 7,31
  • Mishel Zadorozhnaya – “Podelis mechtoy (Share your dream)” 6,64%

The jury panel was made up of the last year’s winner Polina Bogusevich, Sergey Lazarev, who represented Russia at Eurovision 2016, Igor Krutoy, organiser of the Russian final, Nikolai Baskov, Larisa Dolina, Oleg Gazmanov, Tatyana Tsyvareva, Lev Leshchenko and Yevgeny Kombarov.
