The second show of Sanremo 2016 has just come to an end!
This is how the raking looks after the second night:
These results, randomly showed on screen, only reveal the four acts with the less amount of votes after tonight’s show, which doesn’t mean they are eliminated. However, this ranking and the coming ones will contribute the semi-final round result, when a mix of public televote, professional jury and audience will decide the four acts which won’t make through to the final of Sanremo.
A total of twenty artists (Campioni Category) are competing at the 66th edition of Sanremo to get the trophy and consequently have the chance to represent Italy at Eurovision 2016. However, if the winner declines the invitation, the Italian hopeful for Stockholm will be selected among the other candidates.
Dates of Sanremo 2016:
- Semi-Final 1 – February 9
- Semi-Final 2 – February 10
- Semi-Final 3 – Feburuary 11
- Semi-Final 4 – February 12
