More and more the name of world-famous Italian singer Laura Pausini is being mentioned to be the host or one of the hosts of 2022’s Eurovision shows. It would not be a wild card to let Laura Pausini host next year’s shows, since the PalAlpitour Arena has been one of the sold-out Italian venues of Pausini’s concerts for years.

Who is Laura Pausini?

Pausini shot to world-fame when her song “La Solitudine” was released in 1993. In that same year Pausini won the San Remo Festival, the show that these days determines the Italian contestant for the Eurovision Song Contest. The San Remo Festival

The last couple of years Laura Pausini has been asked by the organization of the San Remo to return to the festival, but not as a singer, but as a host, because of her international allure, and her experience with hosting grand shows, like international award events.
