After a hectic week full of interviews, plenty of rehearsals, the Malta Eurovision Song Contest has eventually come to an end. Good news on this, we have a winner and it is no other than the experienced Maltese singer Ira Losco!
As you may know, Ira represented Malta at the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest in Tallinn ranking 2nd with ”7th Wonder” (Philip Vella/Gerard James Borg). This time, the song is called ”Chameleon (Invincible)” but there is a chance the song can be changed into another one, as Ira told us when we met her on our previous interview.
Watch our exclusive video interview with Ira after her victory:
Apart from some other interval acts, Destiny Chukunyere took also part at the beginning of the show by singing her winning Junior Eurovision entry ”Not My Soul”, as well as after all the finalist performances.
14 acts took part tonight while the whole thing was host by Ben Camille, who you can see playing a presenter role after modelling and acting on films and TV.
