How did you feel when you were named as Armenian representative 2014? Did you expect such an awesome moment?

Betty: I was really surprised when I heard my name being announced as the winner. I will never forget that moment.

E+: How did you decide taking part at Armenian national selection 2014?

B: I have been always watching Junior Eurovision and always wanted to participate.

E+: Who helped you with the composition of “People of the Sun”? Could you explain our readers how the composition procedure was?

B: Lyricist Avet Barseghyan and composer Mane Hakobyan helped me to bring the song to its perfection and Martin Mirzoyan did the musical arrangement. All summer long the whole team was busy to make my song and the show to its best.

E+: What’s your song about? What do you want people feel while listening to your song?

B: “People Of The Sun” is about my friends and in general I think that all the juniors around the world are my friends, whom I call People of the Sun, as we juniors are happy, funny, sunny and full of energy. I would like my song to give a smile to everyone who will hear it and to swap all their worries and problems with a positive energy. I am very happy as my song carries only a good mood in it.

E+: What do you do just before going on stage? Do you carry any lucky charm during your performances?

B: Before getting to the stage, I pray. I should say that I don’t have any special amulet, instead I take my good mood with me.

E+: Is your song to be revamped for Junior Eurovision or you will keep it as the original one?Have you tough of shooting an official video so as to introduce your song?

B: Just a little bit of patience. There are going to be many surprises.

E+: It is too soon maybe but, have you already decided about how your stage performance will look like? And the costume you will be wearing?

B: Everything is still being discussed.

E+: Do you follow the senior Eurovision? What are your favourite Eurovision songs?

B: Yeah, I watch adults’ Eurovision Song Contest as well and I think that every song is beautiful in its special way.

Would you like to take part in the future? Yeah, of course.

E+: What do you expect from your Junior Eurovision experience? What do you think it will mean for your musical career?

B: I will definitely make friends with many and what is really very important to me is the experience I can gain there.

E+: Have you listened to the other already selected songs for the contest? What do you think about them?

B: I heard almost all the participants’ songs and I think that we are going to have a spectacular competition.

E+: You have been involved in the TV world since you were very young, how did you decide going into the musical scene?

B: I will tell you a secret. I was invited to TV industry from the musical theatre.

If you had to decide among singing or hosting, what would you choose? I can’t choose yet.

E+: If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do?

B: Invisible or not, it doesn’t really matter. I will carry out kindness and do good things through all my life anyway.
