The Hungarian national selection show begins today with the first heat being aired live. A total of 30 candidates will compete at this year’s A Dal aimed to represent Hungary at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
These are the 10 acts that will perform this evening:

- Calidora – Glory
- Kata Csondor – Create
- David Henderson – White Shadows
- Leander Kills – Élet
- Rocktenors – Ősz
- Roma Soul – Nyitva a ház
- Viki Singh – Rain
- Spoon 21 – Deák
- The Wings – Mint a hurrikán
At today’s show, a professional jury panel, made up of Caramel, Zséda, Károly Frenreisz and Miklós Both, and audience vote will decide the six acts that will go through to the semi-final phase after a two-round voting process. Five qualifiers will be decided by a mix of professional jury decision (80%) and public vote (20%) in the first round while the sixth semifinalist will be chosen by solely televote after a second round featuring the non-qualifiers.
