Georgia 2023: Marvin Dietmann is this year’s Artistic Director of the Georgian act

This year Iru will take the stage for Georgia with the song “Echo”. In March Iru’s song was released, and earlier this year she won the Georgian version of the worldwide popular talent show “The Voice”. It was announced that Marvin Dietmann will be the Artistic Director of this year’s Georgian act.

About Marvin Dietmann

Marvin Dietmann has been announced as this year’s Artistic Director of the Georgian Eurovision act. Marvin has already directed multiple Eurovision acts, like the winning performance of Austrian Conchita Wurst (“Rise Like a Phoenix”). Next to this, Marvin has worked with the Israeli national broadcaster, KAN, to co-direct the Eurovision Song Contest of 2019.

Eurovision 2023

Georgia’s Iru will perform 11th in the second Semi-final on May 11th 2023.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place on May 9th, 11th, and 13th 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. 37 countries will compete for the crown. This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be a joint venture, since last year’s winner Ukraine cannot organize the contest on home soil because of the ongoing war with Russia.
