Singer Iru Khechanovi has won The Voice of Georgia, and will represent Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool (UK).

The final of the talent TV show “The Voice of Georgia” was held yesterday, February 2nd 2023, in the capital of Georgia, Tblisi. The 8 singers that remained to compete in the final of the TV show did their best to become the next representant of the country, and eventually Iru Khechanovi won.
The entry
The entry that Iru Khechanovi will sing in Liverpool will be revealed on a later date. Iru is no stranger to Eurovision as she has represented her country before in the Junior version in 2011.
Eurovision 2022
In the contest of 2022 Georgia was represent by the band Circus Mircus with the song “Lock Me In“; this band eventually became 18th in Semi-final 2, which meant the last place.
Eurovision 2023
Iru Khechanovi will perform in the second half of the second Semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool (UK).
The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will be held on May 9th, 11th, and 13th 2023 in the British city of Liverpool.
