In conclusion

From the list above we can conclude several things for now:

  • 8 countries will choose their song for Liverpool 2023 on February 11th 2023 (Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, and Romania).
  • 5 countries are still big mysteries about what they are going to do to find their entry (Armenia, Australia, Austria, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom), although we do know about Switzerland that they are well on their way, and that they potentially want to disclose their entrant in either January or February of 2023

Eurovision 2023

The Eurovision Song Contest of 2023 will be held in the British city of Liverpool, after last year’s win of Ukraine (Kalush Orchestra – Stefania). Since Ukraine is not able to organize the contest, because of the ongoing war with Russia, the EBU has asked the 2022 runner-up, the United Kingdom, to step in and co-organize the Eurovision Song Contest of 2023. The Semi-finals of the upcoming contest are on May 9th and 11th 2023, and the Grand Final will be on May 13th 2023.
