Not the best way to decide who is going to win Semi-final 1 of the Eurovision Song Contest of 2022, because it might all be a huge surprise, but we took a look at whether there is a shift when it comes down to the betting odds on the website eurovisionworld.com.
Turns out…
That the shift that the first rehearsals have caused is minimal. Below you can find the betting odds according to eurovisionworld.com, and some explanation of the minimal shifts.
- Ukraine – 93%
- Netherlands – 92% (+1%)
- Greece – 91% (+1%)
- Norway – 91% (+1%)
- Albania – 81%
- Armenia – 78% (+1%)
- Portugal – 75% (+1%)
- Moldova – 69%
- Switzerland – 62%
- Austria – 49% (+1 place, -1%)
- Lithuania – 48% (-1 place, -1%)
- Latvia – 47%
- Croatia – 35%
- Iceland – 33% (-1%)
- Denmark – 22%
- Bulgaria – 18%
- Slovenia – 17%
The biggest change, if you can call it that, is that Austria went up one place, and Lithuania went out of the top 10 to qualify. The Netherlands, Greece, Norway, Armenia, and Portugal also saw their chances to qualify go up by 1%.
Let’s see what happens on the night that it really counts! Excited!
