Yesterday the Ukrainian singer who performed as Salvador Sobral during the stand-in rehearsals released his performance on-line. Art Demur was the singer who had the big responsibility to perform “Amar Pelos Dois” by Luísa Sobral, which later became the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.

The stand-in rehearsals allow the producers of the show to test camera angles, lighting effects and other technical elements required by the delegations. These rehearsals take place ahead of the Eurovision weeks following the instructions of each country. Moreover, recordings are sent to the broadcasters in order to show them possible fixes giving ideas for improvements.
