About Jaana Pelkonen:
Jana is a second term member of the Finnish Parliament, entrepreneur and media professional. Before her political career she supported herself as a private entrepreneur in the media for almost twenty years. She earned her master’s degree in political science in 2008 (University of Helsinki). In addition to her more visible role as the presenter in numerousTV-programs – the most memorable of which was the 2007 International Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki which she co-hosted – her work hosting private functions and events has taken her all over Europe. She is a huge Eurovision fan.
