After a Estonia we head to Armenia. Armenia this year are represented by the super group Genealogy who with their song “Face The Shadow” which is marking 100 years since the Armenian Genocide.
Armenia debuted in the contest in 2006 represented by Andre with “Without Your Love”, he finished 8th in the final with 129 points. Armenia’s best results came in 2008 and at least years contest in Copenhagen. Armenia’s best points finish was 2008 with Sirusho and her song “Qele, Qele” which scored 199 points.
On the Armenian Eurojury is Emmy who represented Armenia in 2011. Emmy sang “Boom Boom”, it finished in 12th place in the semi final becoming the only Armenian entry not to make it to the final.
Here are the results of the Armenian vote:
- Italy – 12 points
- Sweden – 10 points
- Cyprus – 8 points
- Russia – 7 points
- Albania – 6 points
- FYR Macedonia – 5 points
- Georgia – 4 points
- Belarus – 3 points
- Israel – 2 points
- Belgium – 1 point
So after those votes the top. 5 now looks like this:
- Australia – 126 points
- Italy – 100 points
- Sweden – 81 points
- Russia – 80 points
- Iceland – 58 points
