Estonia: Five more Eesti Laul semifinalists decided!

The Estonian public broadcaster (ERR) has aired this afternoon the second quarter-final of Eesti Laul 2022, where five more semifinalists have been selected to continue in the race to represent Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.

The show started at 20:35 CET showing the music videos of today’s ten candidates. At the moment of the results, it has been revealed first the three songs chosen by the public vote to participate in the semifinals:

  • Frants Tikerpuu & Triin Niitoja – “Laululind”
  • Helen – “Vaata Minu Poole”
  • Andrei Zevakin feat. Grete Paia – “Mis Nüüd Saab”

Later, the expert jury has decided two more songs to compete in the Eesti Laul 2022 semifinals:

  • Jyrise – “Plaksuta”
  • Kaia-Liisa Kesler – “Vaikus”

These five semifinalists will join the five participants selected in the first quarter-final last week. So these are the ten first semifinalists:

  • Evelin Samuel – “Waterfall”
  • Stig – “Interstellar”
  • Boamadu – “Mitte kauaks”
  • Maian – “Meeletu”
  • Jaagup Tuisk – “Kui vaid”
  • Frants Tikerpuu & Triin Niitoja – “Laululind”
  • Helen – “Vaata Minu Poole”
  • Andrei Zevakin feat. Grete Paia – “Mis Nüüd Saab”
  • Jyrise – “Plaksuta”
  • Kaia-Liisa Kesler – “Vaikus”

And these are the five participants eliminated in today’s quarter- final show:

  1. Wiiralt – “Kuradile”
  2. Desiree – “Siiani”
  3. Silver Jusilo – “Elu Rüpes”
  4. An-Marien – “Löpuks Muutub”
  5. Meisterjaan – “Vahel Lilhtsalt”
