Czech Republic: CT to hold national final in 2018

CT has announced that they will choose their next Eurovision representative from a national final. The broadcaster is back to this selection procedure after nine years, as they last used this method in 2009.

A few months ago, the Czech broadcaster announced they would select their next representive through an internal procedure with public call for songs. However, they have finally opted for a national final that will feature six songs of different genres. The winner will be chosen by a mix of public app voting and international jury in January.
