A snippet of the 2023 Cypriot entry by this year’s representant, Andrew Lambrou, has been released online. The name of the song is “Break a Broken Heart”.

Earlier this week a 30-second snippet of this year’s Cypriot entry was released online. The name of the song is “Break a Broken Heart” and is sung by Andrew Lambrou, this year’s representative of Cyprus. At the same time of the release of the snippet, a pre-save link was also publicly released.
The entry of Cyprus, “Break a Broken Heart”, will officially be released on March 2nd 2023.

Andrew Lambrou was born to Greek-Cypriot parents in one of Australia’s biggest cities, Sydney. In 2022 Andrew competed in the Australian national final, “Australia Decides”, he finished in 7th position with the song “Electrify”.

In the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 Cyprus will compete in the first half of the second Semi-final.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place on May 9th, 11th, and 13th in Liverpool, United Kingdom. This year’s contest is a joint one, since Ukraine won last year, but cannot organize in their home country, because of the ongoing war with Russia.
Eurovision 2022
In 2022 singer Andromache took part for Cyprus, but she did not make it into the Grand Final, finishing 12th in the Second Semi-final; this instance marked the first time that Cyprus did not make it into the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest since 2013.
