Benidorm Fest 2025: Melody, J Kbello, Mel Ömana & Mawot Secure Final Spots for Saturday

The second semifinal of Benidorm Fest 2025 took place this Thursday at the Palau d’Esports L’Illa de Benidorm, where the last four finalists were chosen. These artists will now compete in the grand final for the Bronze Microphone and the opportunity to represent Spain at Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland this May.

Final Line-up Confirmed for Benidorm Fest 2025

Melody, J Kbello, Mel Ömana, and Mawot have secured their places in the final and will face off against KUVE, Lachispa, Daniela Blasco, and Lucas Bun, the four artists who qualified from the first semifinal held on Tuesday. The highly anticipated grand final is set for Saturday, February 1.

No Live Voting in the Semi-finals

One of the most notable changes in this edition is the absence of live voting during the semi-finals. Instead, the finalists were revealed in a random order by the hosts, keeping the suspense high until the end of the show. Here are the results of the second semi-final:

Benidorm Fest 2025 Voting System

The winner of Benidorm Fest 2025 will be determined through a mixed voting system:

  • 50% Jury Vote: Comprising eight national and international music industry professionals.
  • 50% Public Vote, split into:
    • 25% Traditional SMS Voting
    • 25% Free Online Voting via RTVE Play App

This year, the free online vote replaces the demoscopic jury, allowing fans to participate directly via the official RTVE Play app, available for download on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
