VRT has just revealed the 6 names that will made up the professional jury panel for “Eurosong 2016”!
Among the judges, there are some familiar faces for the fans of Eurovision:
- Stijn Kolacny
- Alexander Rybak (Winner of Eurovision 2009)
- Tom Helsen
- Beverly Jo Scott
- Hadise (Turkish representative at Eurovision 2009)
- Christer Björkman (SVT Melodifestivalen supervisor and Eurovision 2013 – 2016 producer)
The Belgian national selection for Eurovision 2016 will kick-off on January 3rd and it will be formed by three live shows hosted by Peter Van de Veire.
In the first show, the candidates will perform covers getting advice from Alexander Rybak and Stijn Kolacny. The competing entries will be presented at the second live show to take place on January 10, where Tom Helsen and Beverly Jo Scott will judge the songs and performances. The last and final show will be held on January 17, with Hadise and Christer Björkman in the panel. However, the winner will be decided by European juries and the audience via televoting.
These are the five candidates to represent Belgium at Eurovision 2016:

- Laura Tesoro
