The allocation draw for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest will take place next Monday, January 20th. EBU has already distributed the semifinal participants into 6 different groups for the draw:
Group 1:
- Albania
- FYR Macedonia
- Montenegro
- (Slovenia)
- Switzerland
Group 2:
- Estonia
- Finland
- Iceland
- Latvia
- Lithuania
Group 3:
- Azerbaijan
- Belarus
- Georgia
- Russia
- Ukraine
Group 4:
- Armenia
- Belgium
- Greece
- Ireland
- The Netherlands
Group 5:
- Austria
- Hungary
- Poland
- San Marino
Group 6:
- Malta
- Moldova
- Portugal
- Romania
Israeli broadcaster IBA made a request to EBU to perform at the second semi-final of Eurovision 2014 and It has been aproved by EBU so It is already known that Israel will perform at Second semi-final.
On the other hand, Norway and Sweden will compete in different semi-finals, the decision was taken some months ago with the EBU’s intention to get the same expectation in both semi-finals, Norway will compete at Second Semi final while Sweden will take part in the first one.
Slovenian participation is still undecided but, in case they are in, Slovenia would be in the first group of countries for the draw.
