The Second Semi-Final of Destination Eurovision 2019 has just concluded with 4 candidates making it through to the finale. Today’s outcome was decided by a jury panel and the audience at home.
France has started broadcast their national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Two semi-finals and a grand finale will decide who will wave the country’s flag in Tel Aviv. A total of 18 potential acts performed in the two live shows of Destination Eurovision.
Today saw the following candidates compete for a place in the final:
- Noémie – “Ma petite famille”
- Ugo – “Ce qui me blesse”
- Gabriella – “On cherche encore (Never get enough)”
- Doutson – “Sois un bon fils”
- Seemone – “Tous les deux”
- The Divaz – “La voix d’Aretha”
- Emmanuel Moire – “La promesse”
- PhilipElise – “Madame la paix”
- Tracy De Sà – “Por aquí”
After an equal combination of votes from an international jury panel and the public, the following acts moved on to the final:
- Seemone – “Tous les deux”
- The Divaz – “La voix d’Aretha”
- Emmanuel Moire – “La promesse”
- Doutson – “Sois un bon fils”
Seemone earned a perfect 60 points from the five international juries. Emmanuel Moire won the televote.
The international jury for tonight’s show was :
- Christer Björkman – Melodifestivalen and Eurovision Producer (Sweden)
- Zoe Straub – Represented Austria at Eurovision 2016 (Austria)
- Mikolas Josef – Represented Czech Republic at Eurovision 2018 (Czech Republic)
- Natia Mshvenieradze – Head of Delegation (Georgia)
- Anushik Ter-Ghukasyan – Head of Delegation (Armenia)
They join the acts that advanced from semi-final one:
- Bilal Hassani – “Roi“
- Chimène Badi – “Là Haut”
- Silvàn Areg – “Le petit Nicolas”
- Aysat – “Comme une grande“
