Junior Eurovision 2017: Watch Day 2 rehearsals in Tbilisi II

Today another set of participants will step on stage for the first time inside Tbilisi Olympic Palace. Be sure to check our posts regularly, as the latest videos of rehearsals and impressions will be added during the day.

You can find the countries that will rehearse in the second half of the day below:

  • Russia: Polina Bogusevich – Krylya (10:40-11:20 h. CET)

The Russian delegation decided to stick to the video’s idea and it was very clever. It is one of the most emotional performances of this year and can touch fans all around the world with a message with no borders. The background is a girl’s room, with a pink wall and a colorful bed; we also have some scene elements: a couch, a wardrobe, and a chair. There are three dancers, one representing a little girl, who wants their parents to come back together, and two others representing the parents. The show was really well produced and it’s powerful for those who are seeing it on tv.

  • Serbia: Irina & Jana – Ceo svet je naÅ¡ (11:20-12:00 h. CET)

Another children-friendly entry, well presented by Irina and Jana. They didn’t change much from the national final, but they polished it and it looks nice on the stage. Serbian girls are using the 30’s outfits, just like in the national final. Serbia decided to go with pink lights, which are very girly and sweet (like the girls).

  • The Netherlands: FOURCE – Love me(12:00-12:40 h. CET)

Velvet clothes for the Dutch boys. They have a nice dance routine. FOURCE boys are really cute on the camera and this charisma can make them get some votes. The background reminds me of Julia’s one (The Netherlands 2014). I liked how the Dutch boys used the catwalk and the camera work is ok for me. The close-up at the end is great! Very good camera work for The Netherlands, with a mix of close and open camera angles. It’s dynamic!

  • Ukraine: Anastasiya Baginska – Ne Zupynyay (12:40-13:20 h. CET)

As usual, Ukraine has a huge stage element – a tree, this time (can we touch Anastasiya’s tree?) What a beautiful start, Ukraine, with Anastasiya sitting in the tree with her guitarist. Great camera angle in that part. They started the Ukrainian performance with trees growing, so they cut it to the stage and go to Anastasiya sit on a tree. It’s beautiful on tv! Anastasiya is wearing an exclusive green costume, kind of a shiny tracksuit with black strips that show the song title. She appears on stage with the guitarist and a violinist. Green and pink are the lighting colours.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will be held on November 26 at the Tbilisi Olympic Palace in Tbilisi, Georgia.
