Junior Eurovision 2026 tickets now on sale: how and where to buy them and how much they cost

Fans of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 have been able to buy their tickets for the event since Wednesday 23 September at 18:00 CEST, a month before the show at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC) in Ta’ Qali on Saturday 24 October.

Host broadcaster Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) has revealed the details of the online ticket sale through the eventworks.mt platform, its official ticketing partner, so that fans can attend the 24th edition of the European children’s contest.

For the third time in its history, the broadcaster is organising the children’s contest. Malta will thus become the epicentre of European children’s and youth music, as it already was in 2014 and 2016.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will take place in Ta’ Qali (Malta) on Saturday 24 October. 16 countries will compete in a top-level show to win the 24th edition of the contest.

This time, the start of the ticket sale has come several weeks earlier, relative to the date of the show, than at the previous edition. Fans wishing to attend Junior Eurovision 2026 can buy their tickets online.

With only a few weeks to go until the big musical celebration, in this article we gather all the available information about the ticket sale for the contest.

Where can I buy tickets for Junior Eurovision 2026?

Tickets for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 have been on sale online since 23 September at 18:00 CEST through the website set up by broadcaster PBS together with eventworks.mt.

The Maltese broadcaster is selling tickets for the two shows open to the public: the evening preview show on Friday 23 October, the dress rehearsal known as the jury show, and the live show on Saturday 24 October.

In this way, ticket sales for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 opened about a month before the contest.

How many tickets are on sale for Junior Eurovision 2026?

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 is subject to the space limitations of the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC) in Ta’ Qali (Malta). The venue’s capacity varies depending on the stage set-up and the type of event: it can host concerts for around 10,000 people.

Capacity may change for technical or artistic reasons. As usual, Junior Eurovision 2026 will have several types of ticket depending on the location in the venue, either in the stands or on the floor.

How much do tickets for Junior Eurovision 2026 cost?

Tickets for Junior Eurovision 2026 are priced from €15. As usual, prices vary depending on the location and the type of show, as there are tickets for both shows open to the public (the jury show dress rehearsal and the live grand final).

Tickets for people with reduced mobility, as well as cheaper tickets for restricted-view seats in the stands, may also be available.

Are ticket prices for Junior Eurovision 2026 in Malta higher than in previous editions?

Looking at previous editions, prices dropped considerably in Yerevan 2022. Tickets for the jury rehearsal, known as the jury show, cost between around €8 and €50, while for the grand final prices were around €12 to €75.

In Nice 2023, the organisers set the goal of making the contest more accessible and affordable and consolidating it as a big family event. The initiative aimed to ensure that the largest possible number of people could enjoy the magic of Junior Eurovision. Prices in 2023 ranged from €15 on the floor to €20 in the stands.

At Junior Eurovision 2024 in Madrid, tickets were more expensive than at the two previous editions. Prices for the jury show ranged from €27 to €35 on the floor and from €38 to €50 in the stands. For the live show, prices ranged from €35 to €50 on the floor and from €46 to €65 in the stands.

In Tbilisi 2025, Georgian broadcaster GPB opted for very affordable prices, starting at 7 Georgian lari (around €2) for the dress rehearsal. For the live show, prices ranged from 10 lari (around €3.19) on the floor to 80 lari (around €25.54) in the stands.

The main entry and attendance conditions for Junior Eurovision 2026

To attend the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026, it is important to bear in mind the following age, access and purchase conditions:

  • Under-14s must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
  • Young people aged 14 to 16 will need a consent form.
  • All ticket holders are encouraged to carry physical ID, as they may be asked to show it at the door.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry at the door. People whose conduct is considered disorderly or unbecoming will not be entitled to a refund or compensation.

Tickets purchased are non-refundable unless otherwise instructed by the event organiser. If a refund is issued, it will cover only the face value of the ticket; the booking fee will not be refunded.

The promoter reserves the right to make changes without prior notice, including changes to capacity, event times or seating arrangements.

The ticketing website states that the promoter or the venue owner may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations or other circumstances beyond their reasonable control. In such cases, the online ticketing platform will not be held responsible for any expenses or costs the buyer may have incurred in connection with the event.
