The 13-year-old singer will compete with “BOO!”. Armenia already has its representative for Junior Eurovision 2026. Naré Kerobyan has been internally selected by broadcaster Hayastani Hanrayin Herrustaynkerut’yuny (AMPTV) to take part in the upcoming edition of the festival, which will take place at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC) in Ta’ Qali (Malta) on Saturday, October 24.
Last June 18, the selection process to find Armenia’s representative was launched, with an open call that ended on June 30. The country will take part for the 19th time, with the aim of achieving another strong result.
“BOO!” will be the song she will perform at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC) in Ta’ Qali on Saturday, October 24. The entry was also internally selected by broadcaster AMPTV and features music written by Lilit Navasardyan, along with lyrics by Grigor Kyokchyan. The song will be presented together with the official music video this afternoon at 19:00 CEST on the official Junior Eurovision channel on YouTube.
In addition, Naré’s selection has a particularly notable aspect: this was not her first time attempting to represent Armenia at Junior Eurovision. According to David Tserunyan, the Armenian head of delegation, the singer had previously taken part in three selection processes, meaning that this year’s call represents her fourth attempt to reach the contest stage. Ultimately, her perseverance has earned her the ticket to Malta to represent Armenia in the competition.
This is how Armenia’s selection process for Junior Eurovision 2026 unfolded
The long-awaited announcement comes after a selection process in which more than 100 young singers interested in representing Armenia took part. The call for applications began on June 18 and was open to soloists, duos and groups. All of them had to submit a live performance of two songs and were assessed before moving on to the next stage of the process.
Of all the applicants, 40 were selected to take part in the second round of auditions, held between July 3 and 12. The participants were evaluated by a jury made up of eight professionals, including Rosa Linn, who represented Armenia at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Snap”. In addition, an international jury took part in the selection process for the candidates who would advance to the final stage.
Finally, Naré was selected to represent Armenia at Junior Eurovision 2026 and will take over from Albert Armenakyan, who was the Caucasian country’s representative at the contest held in Tbilisi (Georgia) in 2025, achieving a commendable 4th place with the song “Brave Heart”.

Naré Kerobyan, known professionally as Naré, is a 13-year-old singer and artist from Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. From a very young age, she has felt a special connection with the stage, developing her passion for music, dance, and acting. In addition to singing, she enjoys learning new choreographies, listening to music, and spending time with her friends.
Despite her young age, Naré already has experience in different artistic projects in Armenia. She has participated in television programs and music productions, opportunities that have allowed her to become familiar with the stage and continue developing as a performer.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest became one of her major goals. Naré attempted to represent Armenia on several occasions and took part in the national selection process up to four times. Her perseverance was finally rewarded in 2026, when she won the selection and earned the right to represent her country at the contest.
Her mother is Mariam Harutyunyan, and her father is Vahan Kerobyan, a businessman and former Minister of Economy of Armenia, who had already revealed the selection of Naré as the Armenian representative at Junior Eurovision on his Facebook page. “This year, my daughter, Naré Kerobyan, won the national competition and will represent Armenia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 ,” he highlighted in his post.
