There is very little time left before celebrating the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025! This year, on Saturday, December 13, the 23rd edition of the children’s contest will take place at the Tbilisi Sports Palace in Georgia.
The Georgian capital is preparing to host one of the most exciting editions in recent years, where young talents from all over Europe will compete for the coveted crystal microphone.
Among the 18 participating countries, Albania will be represented by the young artist Kroni Pula, who will perform the song “Fruta Perime,” a fresh and fun entry that conveys a message of joy and vitality. Kroni, originally from Tirana, has shown her passion for music and the stage since childhood, and promises to captivate both the audience and the jury with her overflowing energy.
This is Kroni Pula, Albania’s hope for victory in Tbilisi.

Kroni Pula (born in 2016 in Tirana, Albania) has become one of the most promising young artists of her generation thanks to her natural talent and charismatic stage presence.
From a very young age, Kroni Pula showed a natural talent and innate passion for music. At just four years old, she was already singing and dancing at every opportunity, displaying an enthusiasm that quickly caught her parents’ attention. Recognising their daughter’s potential and dedication, the family decided to enrol her in specialised artistic training to further her development as a performer.
Kroni is a student at the Dëshmorët e Lirisë school in Tirana, where she actively participates in school events, concerts and cultural activities. Her education combines regular academic studies with artistic training, allowing her to develop both her vocal skills and her stage presence.
Kroni Pula has a strong interest in dance, a discipline she practises regularly and which perfectly complements her musical performances. She speaks enthusiastically about her love of modern dance, mentioning that she practises hip-hop and contemporary dance moves daily to complement her singing. This combination of talents allows her to deliver dynamic and energetic performances, where her natural charisma shines on stage.
This is “Fruta Perime”, Albania’s entry for Junior Eurovision 2025
The winning song of the 68th edition of the Festivali Mbarëkombëtar i Këngës për Fëmijë, performed by Kroni Pula, is titled “Fruta Perime” (Fruits and Vegetables) and is composed by Adrian Hila, with lyrics and orchestral arrangements by the same artist.
Adrian is a renowned Albanian composer and arranger with an extensive career in the Eurovision Song Contest: he composed the Albanian entries for Eurovision in 2005, 2007, and 2008, and this will be his third song for Junior Eurovision, having also created Albania’s entries in 2015 and 2016.
In 2012, he composed “Mamma Mia Te Amo” for Mishela Rapo, and that same year, in the Festivali Mbarëkombëtar i Këngës për Fëmijë, he composed “Pse U Mërzit Mami,” which earned Mishela the first prize.
The lyrics of “Fruta Perime” by Kroni Pula convey a joyful and educational message about the importance of consuming fruits and vegetables in a fun and everyday way. The song combines simple, repetitive phrases that encourage children to enjoy healthy foods, while playing with the idea that although less nutritious foods like hamburgers or fries may sometimes be preferred, the ideal choice is fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables.
Additionally, the song includes references to vitamins and nutrients, reinforcing the value of a balanced diet with a fresh and dynamic tone suited to a young audience. This light and playful approach makes the song memorable and appropriate for a children’s festival like Junior Eurovision, highlighting the importance of healthy eating from an early age.
Musically, “Fruta Perime” features Latin and Caribbean influences, with an infectious rhythm that some observers have compared to the style of contemporary pop songs like “I Like It” by Cardi B. The song includes rap sections performed by Kroni Pula with great energy and confidence, demonstrating her versatility as a performer.
In preparation for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Kroni Pula and her team have been working on a revamped version of “Fruta Perime.” In October 2025, Kroni shared images on her social media from the recording studio, where she appears working alongside Adrian Hila on this new version of the song. This practice is common in Junior Eurovision, where artists often refine and improve their songs between the national selection and the international competition.
The production team is preparing a colorful and dynamic staging for Tbilisi, aiming to incorporate visual elements representing fruits and vegetables, possibly with dancers in costumes or large scenic pieces that reinforce the song’s joyful and healthy message.

There’s not a day I skip my greens
but Uh-huh
I love them with burgers and fries, it seems
Ehaaaa

You love them, you love them too
But mom says no, no, no
We don’t want them, no, no, no
But you love them, yes you do
It’s not her fault though
Eat the better ones, oh yes
All together:
Fruits and veggies,
Raw or cooked,
Veggies and fruits,
Hard or soft.
From today I’m vegetarian,
Elegant like Rihanna,
I want pizza, crepes, mama,
Choco cream and banana.

And a bit of magnesium
And some eggs
‘Cause I’ll turn up, turn up, turn up!
Albania in Junior Eurovision
Albania debuted in Junior Eurovision in 2012, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the contest. Igzidora Gjeta, with “Kam Një Këngë Vetëm Për Ju,” finished in last place with 35 points, the country’s worst result to date. After this debut, RTSH decided to withdraw for two editions due to dissatisfaction with the results. The return came in Bulgaria 2015, with Mishela Rapo and her song “Dambaje,” which achieved fifth place, the country’s best result to date.
Albania is among the countries that hold national selections to choose their entries. Until recently, RTSH organized Junior Fest, a children’s contest that served as a musical platform for young artists. Between 2015 and 2016, the broadcaster opted for the Festivali i Këngës Për Fëmijë, a national competition that today reaches its 63rd edition. Since 2017, Junior Fest assumed the primary role in selecting the Albanian representative, and in 2023 the initiative “Talent” was added, a youth space aimed at fostering musical creation and performance, strengthening the country’s presence in the contest. This format has consolidated RTSH as a promoter of national music and culture, supporting children’s creativity through the production of original compositions.
Even so, Albania’s track record remains modest, with only three Top 10 finishes. In Yerevan 2022, Kejtlin Gjata (“Pakëz Diell”) placed 12th with 94 points; in Nice 2023, Viola Gjyzeli (“Bota Ime”) reached 8th place with 115 points; and in Madrid 2024, Nikol Çabeli, with “Vallëzoj,” achieved 7th place and 126 points, the highest score in Albania’s history.
