The second and last episode of this year’s Junior Songfestival is now on-line, revealing the 8 candidates that were chosen to perform at the final audition.
The 8 candidates, all girls, were selected among 29 young artists after the first audition, held on May 21:

From the 8 chosen finalists, a professional jury will selected the members of the pop-band, apparently to be a trio, that will represent The Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2016. After this, the band members will spend the whole summer working on their song, staging and other preparations for the international contest.
This year, the Dutch broadcaster has opted for a format change based on the on-line interaction, through YouTube, juniorsongfestival.nl and social media. This means the end of the Junior Songfestival televised shows which had been being aired every year since 2003.
