Malta continues to move to the rhythm of the “festa” surrounding the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Rehearsals are well underway at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC) in Ta’ Qali, and the European contest is counting down the minutes until its next winner is crowned this Saturday, 24 October, from 21:00 CEST.
As the contest approaches its 25th anniversary, the trophy of the European competition is unveiling a new design, adopting the look of the iconic Eurovision Song Contest crystal microphone, but in a smaller format and with a striking use of colour.
Marking the beginning of a new era, the Junior Eurovision trophy represents far more than a prize for the winner: it symbolises recognition of the talent, creativity and effort of the young artists who take to the stage each year to represent their countries.
