The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is now underway. The stage set up at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel has begun welcoming the participating artists. All of them have arrived at the venue to continue preparing and fine-tuning their performances for the major musical event taking place on May 13, 15, and 17 in Switzerland.
On Saturday, May 3, the first individual rehearsals took place for Iceland, Poland, Slovenia, Estonia, Ukraine, Sweden, and Portugal, all of whom are competing in the first semifinal.
Each artist had 30 minutes to run through multiple takes of their performance during their initial interaction with the stage. Unlike in previous editions, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has only released three photos per country from these first individual rehearsals.
