The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 continues preparations on the stage set up at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel. After the semifinal countries, it was the turn of the Big 5 (Germany, Spain, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom) and Switzerland, as the host country. On Thursday, May 8, they held their first individual rehearsals to fine-tune their performances ahead of the big musical event taking place on May 13, 15, and 17 in Switzerland.
They each had 30 minutes to run through several takes of their performance in their first encounter with the stage. Unlike previous editions, the European Broadcasting Union (UER-EBU) has only released three photos per country from these first individual rehearsals.
