The Eurovision Song Contest is already here, and something that couldn’t be missing in Liverpool was the iconic crystal trophy of the competition. The EBU has shown the first images of it on the stage of the M&S Arena in Liverpool, where its winner will be decided.
The Eurovision trophy was designed by Kjell Engman, from Kosta Boda, who has been working as a glass artist for thirty years. The trophy is shaped like a classic microphone and is made of solid transparent glass with painted details and sandblasted polished.
Who will take it home on May 13th?
