We have the song! San Marino has released “Ruota Panoramica”, the song by Violamarie for the 24th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Ta’ Qali, Malta, on Saturday, October 24.
In 2026, San Marino is represented by the young Violamarie, an 11-year-old Italian singer who was internally selected by San Marino RTV. The young artist has presented her entry “Ruota Panoramica”, with which she will compete to bring San Marino’s first victory at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre in Ta’ Qali, Malta.
The song was released at midnight on Friday, September 25, on digital platforms, while fans await the release of its official music video.
In 2026, San Marino is making its sixth participation in the country’s history at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, marking its third consecutive appearance since its return in 2024 in Madrid, where the female group Idols SM took to the stage to the sound of “Come Noi”. In 2025, the Most Serene Republic achieved its best result ever, with Martina CRV and her “Beyond The Stars”, reaching ninth place with 125 points.

Violamarie will compete with “Ruota Panoramica” at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026. San Marino’s entry is a pop song that combines Italian and English. The song was written by Emilio Munda, Piero Romitelli and Denny Montesi.
Emilio Munda is an Italian composer, songwriter, producer and arranger, born in Fermo in 1982. He began playing the drums at the age of four and learned several instruments as a self-taught musician. He has worked with artists such as Umberto Tozzi, Francesco Renga, Nina Zilli, Michele Bravi and Il Volo.
Piero Romitelli is an Italian singer and songwriter. He took part in the programme ‘Amici di Maria De Filippi’ and later formed the duo Pquadro with Pietro Napolano. He has also developed a significant career as a songwriter. His collaborations with artists such as Marco Mengoni, Nina Zilli, Francesco Renga, Noemi and Dear Jack have stood out.
Denny Montesi is an Italian businessman linked to the worlds of entertainment, music and events. He has developed projects related to the production of shows and music competitions. He is the administrator of Media Evolution –the production company responsible for the San Marino Song Contest preselection– and, since 2026, the head of delegation for San Marino at Eurovision events. He is also involved as a songwriter for San Marino’s entries in the European contest.

Who is Violamarie? Meet San Marino’s representative at Junior Eurovision 2026
San Marino’s representative will be Violamarie, an Italian singer who is just 11 years old and who already has a significant artistic career despite her young age. Her passion for musicals, dance and, especially, singing emerged from a very early age. At the age of five, she began a more structured artistic training, focusing on singing, piano, ballet and modern dance.
The young artist has received musical and stage training both within her family environment and at different academies located in Liguria, Lombardy and the Rimini area. Throughout her training, she has worked on different disciplines related to the world of entertainment, including music, singing, dance, acting and dubbing.
Her multidisciplinary training will allow her to take on the Junior Eurovision stage not only from a vocal perspective, but also from an interpretative and stage perspective. In recent years, she has also expanded her training with disciplines such as musicals and dubbing, taking part in courses at the Teatro Sistina, the Art Dubbing school in Rome and the TVA Academy of Silvia Mezzanotte.
She has taken part in competitions and festivals such as Je So Pazzo, Tour Music Fest, Sanremo Junior and Performer Cup, and in 2022 she won the Baby category at the Je So Pazzo Music Festival. She also began to gain popularity among the general public thanks to her participation in ‘La Tv dei 100 e uno’, on Canale 5, and, especially, in the historic ‘Zecchino d’Oro’.
The selection of Violamarie also represents a bet on an artist who already has a notable presence on social media. The young artist has amassed more than one billion views across her content and has more than 350,000 followers across her different platforms. Her activity on social media has also served as a showcase for her vocal and stage abilities, building a community of followers before making the leap to the international stage of Junior Eurovision.
Although she is still 11 years old, Violamarie has already managed to attract the attention of various professionals and renowned artists from the Italian music scene. The singer has collaborated with other artists and professionals, while her talent has been recognised by prominent names such as Eros Ramazzotti, Tosca, Giorgia, Pietro Morello, Adriano Pennino, Pierpaolo Guerrini, Silvia Mezzanotte and Fiorella Mannoia.
In the musical field, Violamarie has an especially varied repertoire. The young performer has worked on everything from classic Disney songs to tracks belonging to international pop from the 1990s and the 2000s. This variety reflects a training based on different musical styles and generations.
