Interesting result facts

• Brandsta City Släckers and FELICIA took revenge by advancing directly to the final, after previously competing in Gothenburg (2003 and 2024) where they had to go through the second-chance round and were eliminated both times as the third-placed entry, with only the top two advancing to the final.

• FELICIA qualified for the final with “My System”, co-written with three Norwegian songwriters and one Danish songwriter. This marks the highest number of foreign songwriters in a finalist entry since Felix Sandman’s “Boys with Emotions” (2020), which also featured four international writers.

• Thanks to Brandsta City Släckers reaching the final, the current final lineup consists of half group acts and features a near-record-high number of performers per entry, as the five firefighters are joined by the four members of A*Teens in the final.

• With Arwin’s result, it was confirmed that songwriter Dino Medanhodzic failed to reach the final for only the second time in 16 attempts.

• At present, no songwriter has more than one song competing in the final.

Next week, the journey continues on the 14th of February live from Kristianstad, where another 6 acts will compete for the golden tickets.
