Lithuanian television has concluded the grand final of Eurovizija.LT 2024, their revamped national final spanning 6 shows over six consecutive weeks, culminating in the selection of their representative for Eurovision 2024, set to take place next May in Malmö.
Ten artists competed for the title and the ticket to Malmö. In the first round of voting, both the public and the jury selected three superfinalists: Silvester Belt, Shower, and The Roop. In the second round, the public exclusively voted Silvester Belt as the winner of the competition with his song “Luktelk,” earning him the spot as the Baltic country’s representative at the European contest.

At the start of the program, a voting period was opened for viewers at home to support their favorite act by voting through the provided lines, alongside the votes from the professional jury.

The final result was determined after two rounds of voting. The first round, where both the jury and the Lithuanian public had an equal 50% share, determined the three superfinalists. Following a second round of voting, the public alone selected Silvester Belt as the Lithuanian representative for Eurovision 2024.

Silvester Belt is a promising pop singer-songwriter who began writing songs while studying at a university in London. He found success with his debut track and continues to work with the team at the Lithuanian label Open Play to release new singles.
“Luktelk,” the song he is competing with at Eurovizija.LT, was co-written by Elena Jurgaitytė, who is emerging in the Lithuanian music scene, and Jessica Shy, currently one of Lithuania’s most prominent artists, who won four M.A.M.A awards, the most prestigious in Lithuanian music, in 2023.
