According to eurosongcontest.cz, Ondřej Soukup will be in charge of the Czech entry for Eurovision 2015. The composer will send 3 songs to Česká Televize and an internal jury will select the perfect one as well as the perfect entrant to represent Czech Republic in Vienna.
Ondřej Soukup is a well-known composer in Czech Republic, he has composed soundtracks for twenty feature films including Jan Svěrák’s Kolya, an Academy Award winner for best foreign film in 1997, and Dark Blue World, for which Soukup received his second Czech Lion award for best soundtrack in 2001. Ondřej was also a jury member for the talent show Česko Hledá SuperStar and X Factor.
Czech Republic is back to Eurovision after a five year-absence and this is their fourth participation in the history of the competition. They have never qualified for the Eurovision Gran Final.
