Junior Eurovision: Details on the Russian national final revealed!‏

As we previously announced some weeks ago, Russia is on it for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest. TV channel Karusel in conjunction with public state broadcaster RTR are organizing this year’s national selection for the European production.

Two days ago, the submission period available to send in a song for the contest closed and now both channels are working hard to create the most exciting show that will take place at the end of this month in Moscow.

But for now, the previous stage prior to the final is taking place, where a jury panel will listen up to the entries and acts that were collected since the process was opened last month and will select the best ones in order to take part in the show. The final line-up of little stars will be released shortly as it gets published on Karusel’s official site.

The running-order will be drawn the day before the dress rehearsal of the show and the final itself will be aired on Karusel TV.

The final decision will be in hands of the jury and the Russian audience at home, where viewers will be able to choose the winner by online voting, 10 extra minutes will be given to cast the vote after the last song has been performed. Full results will be published on Karusel’s site after the show.

How much are you looking forward to listening to the Russian contenders? You can listen to some of the submissions by searching for “Канал Карусель” on YouTube. We will have to wait a little bit more to know the finalists, so be patient, #Discover all national selections around Europe and enjoy Junior Eurovision 2015 taking place in Sofia, next November 21st!
