Today Odense held a press conference to officially declare that they will be the host city of the Danish National final “Dansk Melodi Grandprix“ on March 8th 2014 and the childrens “MGP” a week after on March 15th 2014.
To entertain and meet the press the city had invited none other than this year’s Eurovision winner Emmelie de Forest. She performed the song that won her the Eurovision trophy back in May “Only Teardrops”. She also expressed her excitement for Odense being chosen as the host and was sure that the city will do a great job.
Afterwards she gave interviews and took pictures with the press and fans who showed up for the press conference.
