The third semi-final of the Swedish national selection Melodifestivalen 2016 has just concluded. 7 songs participated, and two of them went directly through to the final, while another two will have one more chance in the “Andra Chansen” show, on March 5th. The hosts tonight were Gina Dirawi and Henrik Schyffert.

Directly to the final:
- Oscar Zia – Human
- Lisa Ajax – My Hearts Wants Me Dead
They will join Robin Bengtsson and Ace Wilder, who qualified through semi-final 1, as well as David Lindgren and Wiktoria, who went straight to the final in the semi final 2.
Through to ”Andra Chansen”:
- SaRaha – Kizunguzungu
- Boris René – Put Your Love On Me
They will compete for one of the four places in the final, together with Samir & Viktor and Albin & Mattias from semi-final 1, along with Isa and Molly Pettersson-Hammar, who clinched their spots in the second chance round at the semi-final 2.
Eliminated from the contest:
- SMILO – Weight of the World – 5th place
- Swingfly feat. Helena Guttara – You Carved Your Name – 6th place
- After Dark – Kom Ut Som En Stjärna – 7th place
Melodifestivalen 2016 will continue on the next Saturday with the 4th semifinal, which will be held in Gävle. There, seven new acts will compete to go through to the final.
