Stage design for Junior Eurovision 2016 revealed!

PBS has just revealed a sneak peak of how the stage for this year’s Junior Eurovision will look inside the Mediterranean Conference Centre.

Look at the pictures below and discover what’s waiting for you on November 20:

“The theme chosen by Malta is “Embrace” which was inspired by core values of the contest: Connectivity, Diversity, Creativity and Respect.

The core of the contest will take place in Republic Hall which will see its stage converted into a modern television set with live audience. The production team has earlier this week shared the detail of how the stage will look like, during a Heads of Delegation meeting held in Malta. The stage and set are modern and energetic but will respect the characteristic features of the venue.

The delegations and the international press will have the opportunity to admire the beauty of other parts of the Mediterranean Conference Centre, as the building will cater for all the services related to the production. The marvellous Sacra Infermeria will introduce this year’s innovation, as it will be turned into a red carpet and green room with live audience. “, describes PBS.

This is the second time Malta is hosting the event as they already organized Junior Eurovision in 2014, held in the Malta Shipbuilding. 17 countries will take part at this year’s Junior Eurovision that will take place on November 20 at 16.00 CET in Valletta (Malta).
