San Marino withdraws from Junior Eurovision

The Sammarinese broadcaster has announced today they won’t be taking part at this year’s Junior Eurovision.

“RTV San Marino has decided not to take part at Junior Eurovision 2016. We want to wish all the best to the Maltese broadcaster in the organisation of this important event”, stated the general director of the broadcaster, Carlo Romeo.

San Marino has taken part at Junior Eurovision since 2013 having sent three representatives to the contest: Michele Perniola, The Peppermints and Kamilla Ismailova. Their best result came in 2013 with the song “O-o-O Sole intorno a me”.
